Is it a hit or a miss? Here's my take
A historical gem, the atmosphere captivating with charming staff. Dinner was really good. The seafood dish good with wines complementing the meal perfectly.
The journey can be tricky due to ongoing roadworks, and stair access might pose a challenge for some guests.

Charming medieval decor adds to the unique atmosphere.
Access to the hotel was frustrating due to roadworks blocking the car park. I had a difficult time lugging heavy bags over uneven surfaces. The room felt dark and cramped, lacking modern amenities .

Charming historical building with original features caught my attention immediately. Staff welcomed me warmly and even helped carry my suitcase, of which I was grateful given the winding staircase. The room had lovely touches but felt small, lacking some modern comforts. The dining experience stood out. Every meal I had was excellent and reasonably priced. The chef's seafood dish perfectly paired with their house red wine made for a good dinner. Breakfast featured the best croissants I've had in a while. WiFi could be spotty at times, a bit frustrating, but not a dealbreaker for my one-night stay. The limited parking situation due to nearby roadworks made accessing the hotel a bit of a challenge. A unique and cozy place although some minor updates would enhance the experience further.

This charming, historic hotel had us jaw-dropping at every turn. The ancient building oozed character, with its worn stone staircase and quirky undercroft restaurant. The staff were super friendly and efficient, making us feel right at home. The value for money was mind-blowing, especially considering the exceptional quality of the evening meal and extensive menu. We loved the individuality of the rooms and the cozy cafe for breakfast. this place exceeded all expectations and we'll definitely be back!
